3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

You may create an account to make purchases easier, but it is not required. When creating an account, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Maintain the security of your password
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.2 Guest Checkout

You may also purchase as a guest without creating an account. Guest checkout requires providing necessary shipping and contact information for order fulfillment.

4. Orders and Pricing

  • We send an order confirmation email
  • The contract is formed when we dispatch the products
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order

4.2 Pricing

  • All prices are in Swedish Kronor (SEK) and include VAT (moms) at 25%
  • Prices are subject to change without notice
  • The price charged is the price displayed at the time of order
  • Shipping costs are added at checkout and shown before payment

4.3 Product Availability

Products are subject to availability. If a product becomes unavailable after your order, we will notify you and offer a refund or alternative product.

5. Payment

5.1 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Swish (Swedish mobile payment)
  • Klarna (invoice and installment payments)

5.2 Payment Processing

  • Payment is processed securely through Stripe
  • Payment is charged when the order is confirmed
  • We do not store your payment card details
  • You must have authorization to use the payment method

5.3 Failed Payments

If payment fails, your order will not be processed. We will notify you and you may attempt payment again or use an alternative method.

6. Shipping and Delivery

6.1 Shipping Areas

We ship to addresses within Sweden and selected European countries. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by location.

6.2 Delivery Times

  • Sweden: 2-5 business days
  • EU Countries: 5-10 business days
  • Delivery times are estimates and not guarantees
  • You will receive tracking information when available

6.3 Risk of Loss

Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier.

7. Right of Withdrawal (Ångerrätt)

7.1 14-Day Right

Under Swedish and EU law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you (or a third party you designate) receive the products.

7.3 Return Conditions

  • Products must be returned in original condition
  • Products must be unused with tags attached
  • Return shipping is at your expense
  • We recommend insured and tracked shipping

7.4 Refunds

We will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned products. We may withhold the refund until we receive the products or you provide proof of return.

7.5 Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made or personalized products, or products that have been opened and used for hygiene reasons.

8. Warranty and Complaints (Reklamation)

8.1 Product Warranty

All products come with a 2-year warranty under Swedish consumer law. If a product is defective:

  • Contact us within a reasonable time (preferably within 2 months)
  • Provide proof of purchase and description of the defect
  • We will repair, replace, reduce the price, or refund as appropriate

8.2 Handcrafted Nature

Our products are handcrafted by artisans. Minor variations in color, size, and appearance are natural characteristics and not considered defects.

9. Product Descriptions

We strive to provide accurate product descriptions and images. However:

  • Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings
  • Handcrafted items may have natural variations
  • Measurements are approximate
  • We reserve the right to correct errors in descriptions or pricing

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is owned by CEILAN or our content suppliers and is protected by Swedish and international copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Swedish law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product
  • This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury

12. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, war, pandemics, or government actions.
